Their day
at Domaine du Colombier.
Cassandra and Thibaut got married on 16 May 2026 at Domaine du Colombier, in Sandrans, in the Dombes, about forty minutes north of Lyon. Around 100 guests were there, and the ceremony, dinner and party all took place on site.
I followed the day from late morning: each of them getting ready separately, then the first look at the ceremony, outdoors under the great tree in the grounds, with the vows and words from their loved ones.
After the ceremony, the photo session by the pond gave me time to film the couple naturally, between two photos. In the evening came dinner, a buzzer blind test between the tables, then the first dance.
The film runs 8 min 44 s. The only voices you hear are from the ceremony: the vows and the words of their loved ones carry the emotion, then the music takes over and the pace builds up to the party.
