Why work with me in Marseille
An hour and forty minutes by TGV is short enough to come and scout, film within the day or come back for a second shoot. And far enough that everything is ready before leaving: shot list, permits, timings.

Case studies
A catalogue of 240 videos, a gathering of 2,500 runners, a national ceremony: three projects whose organisation resembles what Marseille businesses and institutions ask for. Each card links to the film.
ASPTT × MOOVA · 2025
To launch its MOOVA app, the ASPTT wanted a library of 20 to 30-minute sport and wellness sessions: cardio boxing, cross-training, yoga, pilates, strength. I handled a large part of the editing, export optimisation and deliverables management, nearly 17 terabytes of footage to process. A shared tracking sheet kept the quality consistent and the deadlines met. A useful method for any company that wants to produce content in series: training, tutorials, catalogue.

AFTERWORK RUNNING · VALENCE · 2025
For its race in the heart of Valence, the Afterwork Running brought together employees from 170 companies, a 700 m² welcome village and 120 volunteers. I listed the highlights in advance, then filmed sometimes among the runners, sometimes in the village, to show both the effort and the friendly atmosphere. The official film is used to make people want to take part the following year. In Marseille, the same preparation suits a corporate race, a tournament or a big party.

DGAEV · INVALIDES · 2022
The DGAEV entrusted me with the film of the ceremony held at Les Invalides on 14 July: tributes, official speeches, symbolic gestures. This type of event cannot be replayed; you need to know the programme to the minute and choose your positions in advance, in close contact with the organisers. The edit balances solemnity and emotion. An approach that transfers directly to the ceremonies, inaugurations and institutional events of Marseille and the Métropole.

Services
Shipowners and logistics companies, Euroméditerranée head offices, Luminy laboratories, Belle de Mai businesses, conference organisers at the Pharo or Chanot: in Marseille, commissions are varied. I start from your goal and your site constraints, not from a ready-made format.
Showing a trade, a warehouse, a laboratory or a head office: we set the storyline together, then I film your teams on site, from the port quays to the offices of La Joliette, following your safety rules. A long version for your website, clips for recruitment and trade shows.

A recruitment video, a trade show film and a reel have nothing in common except your brand. Below, the most useful formats for Marseille businesses and organisers.
| If you want to | Format | Length | Where to publish it | Why it works |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Present your business | Corporate film → | 2 to 3 min | Trade shows, homepage, tenders | Your trade explained by those who do it, with footage of your sites, from the port to the workshop. |
| Convince with proof | Client testimonial → | 1 min 30 | Proposals, LinkedIn, meetings | A client describes the result achieved, in their own words: nothing is more credible. |
| Recruit in Marseille | Employer brand video → | 2 min + 3 portraits | Careers page, job boards, schools | Employees talking about their job and a city where people want to live. |
| Bring a conference to life | Aftermovie → | 1 min 30 + teaser | Newsletter, social media, next edition | The highlights at the Pharo or Chanot, summed up to thank participants and attract the next ones. |
| Publish regularly | Reels and vertical formats → | 20 to 45 s | Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok | A series shot in one day, spread over several weeks of posts. |
| Make a process clear | Motion design and 3D → | 45 s to 1 min 30 | Website, training, trade shows | Logistics, maintenance, energy: animation simplifies what a camera only partly shows. |
Marseille, the practical side
Every permit goes through the City’s Mission cinéma: 20 working days of processing, 10 for a simplified declaration (ten people maximum, in the street).
National park: specific authorisation for any professional shoot. In town, flights declared to the prefecture; the mistral often decides the rest.
In the Grand Port Maritime area, you contact the port’s communications department before any shoot.
Strong wind for sound and drone, harsh light in summer: I plan a fallback slot and protected microphones.
Marseille settings
A port city, a brand-new business district, hills, beaches and a national park: few cities offer so many such different settings. Six areas to know before choosing yours, bearing in mind that a head office in La Joliette does not tell the same story as a workshop in the Belle de Mai.
Quays, Norman Foster’s canopy, the colourful alleys of Le Panier: the Marseille everyone recognises. Very busy, it is filmed early in the morning, with a light crew, with a simplified declaration if you stay in the street.
CMA CGM tower, renovated docks, recent offices: the business district stretching towards Arenc. The right setting for a head office, a services company or a recruitment video.
The MuCEM and Fort Saint-Jean on one side, the Palais du Pharo and its 900-seat auditorium on the other: a cultural seafront and a conference centre right by the water.
The Chanot exhibition centre hosts the International Fair in late September and many trade shows; the Orange Vélodrome and the Prado beaches complete an area geared towards large gatherings.
To the north, the Belle de Mai media hub and its image companies; to the east, the Château-Gombert technology park, focused on engineering and research. Technical settings for an innovation film.
Spectacular landscapes, but the heart of a National Park: any professional shoot requires authorisation, and no logistics are allowed at Les Goudes until 31 March 2027 (decontamination works). The Luminy campus suits scientific films.
How it works
Proximity simplifies logistics: on-site scouting possible, day return for a short shoot, editing in Lyon, with your approval at every step.
Goal, locations, dates, audience: I send you a clear quote, TGV and, if needed, overnight stay included.
Declaration to the Mission cinéma (20 working days), Park or port agreement if needed, scouting, schedule.
A corporate film fits into one day, with an early morning train; a conference or trade show is covered for its whole duration.
First version online, your comments directly on the picture, then up to four rounds and delivery of all the variations.
Organisation
Marseille is close enough to Lyon for a day return. Depending on your project, this is enough, or it is better to stay on site. In both cases, the quote specifies the time spent in the field.
In most cases, I suggest the simplest option that meets your goals: often a single day. If the project needs a studio, live broadcast or many cameras, a local production company remains the right choice, and I tell you so.

Client testimonials
A serious, creative professional, always attentive and able to adapt to any situation.
“He knows how to handle the unexpected and adapt to different situations.”
“Great communication, a pleasure to work with him!”
“Very professional, video edited very quickly.”
“Professional, talented and very committed.”
The director
I have been making corporate and event videos since 2018: writing, filming, editing and visual effects. On bigger projects, a small crew joins me: camera operator, sound recordist, assistant. You always keep the same director.
On the Mediterranean coast, I filmed the Mars Wrigley stand in Cannes, and I have also shot in Fréjus. Elsewhere, Koezio, the ASPTT, the DGAEV and the Valence Afterwork Running have trusted me.
FAQ · Marseille
A question still open? Write to me, reply the next business day.
It depends on the number of days on site, the editing time, the number of people and the options (drone, 3D, formats). In Marseille, travel weighs little: a TGV return from Lyon, rarely a hotel night. The quote itemises each cost, and my pricing guide lists the other parameters.
The City’s Mission cinéma, a one-stop shop that processes applications online and contacts the other municipal departments and the Métropole for you. Allow 20 working days of processing, or 10 for a simplified declaration (ten people at most, in the street, with no parking order). Processing is free; some sites charge a fee.
Yes, under conditions. In urban areas, each flight requires a prior declaration to the Bouches-du-Rhône police prefecture, and some areas remain prohibited or height-limited. In the Calanques National Park, you also need the Park’s authorisation, which for example requires keeping away from the cliffs. Finally, the mistral can make flying impossible: I always keep a ground-based option.
Yes, with authorisation from the Calanques National Park, mandatory for any professional project, documentary or advertising. The Park sets its conditions (hours, access, drone) and asks for a credit. At Les Goudes, no parking or traffic logistics are allowed until 31 March 2027, due to decontamination works.
In the Grand Port Maritime area, you must contact the port’s communications department before any request. On an industrial or logistics site, I follow your safety rules (equipment, restricted areas, escort) and plan a scouting visit to set up shots without disrupting operations. When access is impossible, views of ships, cranes or terminals filmed from public space can complete the film.
Yes. For an exhibitor or an organiser, it is the organiser who issues the supplier access; I scout the spaces the day before or in the morning, then film the stand, conferences and highlights. The Marseille International Fair, for example, takes place at the Parc Chanot from 25 September to 5 October 2026.
Yes, it is actually common: about 1 h 40 by direct TGV, around twenty trains a day between Lyon Part-Dieu and Marseille Saint-Charles. For a one-day shoot, there is often no hotel or subsistence cost. If we are aiming for dawn light on the Vieux-Port, I come down the day before, and the hotel night appears on a separate line.
Yes: Cassis, La Ciotat, Aubagne, Aix-en-Provence, Vitrolles, Marignane, Martigues, Fos-sur-Mer, and further afield Toulon or Avignon. Several nearby sites can be filmed on the same trip.
Interviews, corporate video, aftermovie: an independent director, with extra support if needed, is more than enough. A live broadcast, a studio set or a multi-camera set-up over several days call for a full structure: the page video production in Marseille describes these set-ups.
April, May, June and autumn give the best conditions, with fewer people. In summer, the midday light is very harsh: I film early or at sunset. On mistral days, the air is crystal clear but sound and drone become tricky: I keep a backup date when possible.
Yes. In Valence, I made the official video of the Afterwork Running, which brought together 2,500 participants from 170 companies. Corporate race, tournament, regatta or stadium match: I prepare the highlights with the organisers and film as close as possible to the participants.
I adapt: filming early in the morning on a quay, at night in a warehouse or during a shift change. We set the slots together so as not to slow production, and I film light so as not to clutter the workstations.
Brief by video call, shot list approved by email, then edits shared online, commented directly on the picture. And if you prefer, I come to see you in Marseille for the scouting: the journey is short.
You can freely use the delivered videos for your communication; the music is bought with a licence covering these uses. TV broadcast or billboard use is planned in the quote. When recognisable people appear, at a trade show for example, I obtain their consent.
