3D that serves the story
Visual effects, animated titles, 3D objects: I create them in-house, with restraint. On a show teaser or a heritage film, they must extend the world, never cover it.

Theatre companies, heritage venues, companies in Agroparc or Courtine: in Avignon, I film projects that need emotion as much as clarity. Based in Lyon, I am just over an hour away by TGV.

Why a Lyon videographer for Avignon
A show, a monument or a craft is not filmed like an office. You have to respect a rhythm, a light, a silence, then find in the edit what will make people want to come. That is the heart of my work.
Visual effects, animated titles, 3D objects: I create them in-house, with restraint. On a show teaser or a heritage film, they must extend the world, never cover it.
Victador · 3D compositing
Horizontal teaser for your website, vertical versions for social media, short loop for a reception screen: I plan each format at the shoot, so that a show or a venue is visible everywhere.
OLY × Teddy Riner · verticals

Case studies
A show teaser, a museum documentary and an official ceremony: three ways of filming culture and institutions, comparable to the needs of Avignon’s companies, venues and local authorities. The full film is on each case study.
FROZEN · COMPAGNIE LOUP DE LUNE
For the show Frozen, Compagnie Loup de Lune needed a teaser. The images alternate between scenes in the snow, the bluish lights of the stage, the auditorium and the troupe’s final bow. The point of a teaser is not to show everything, but to convey an atmosphere in a few dozen seconds. For a company performing in Avignon, it is the tool that supports ticketing, social media and conversations with programmers.

MUSÉE HENRI MARTIN · CAHORS
In Cahors, the Musée Henri Martin entrusted me with a documentary on Jeffrey & Sally, two artists whose painting draws on the living world. I favoured a slow, attentive approach: the forest, the changing light, the gestures, the breaths. The film lets the museum present its artists and extend the visit. An approach that transfers to Avignon’s museums, galleries, chapels and foundations, from the Petit Palais to the Collection Lambert.

DGAEV · 14 JULY · 2022
At Les Invalides, I filmed the national day ceremony for the DGAEV. In a heritage venue full of symbols, the camera has to find its place without disturbing: positions agreed with the organisers, attention to gestures and silences, an edit that respects the solemnity. That is exactly what an event at the Palais des Papes, in a theatre courtyard or at an official inauguration demands.

A show or a venue to film?
Send me a few lines about the project, the date and the place: you will have a costed proposal by the next business day.
What I offer
Theatre companies and venues, museums and heritage sites, businesses in Agroparc and Courtine, players in wine and tourism: the starting point is always the emotion or the information your audience must retain; the set-up follows from it.
A teaser to sell a date, clips for programmers, a recording for your archives: I film in rehearsal or performance, in agreement with the company and the venue, and I edit to the rhythm of the piece.
Deliverables30 to 90 s teaser, clips, recording
Discover the offer →Monument, museum, wine estate, cut-stone hotel: I film at the hours when the light flatters the material, with a story that makes people want to visit. A full version for the website, short formats for social media.
Deliverables1 to 2 min film, short versions
Discover the offer →An SME in Agroparc, a wine merchant, a tourism player: I film your teams, your expertise and your clients, with interviews prepared together so that everyone speaks naturally.
DeliverablesMain film, interviews, clips
Discover the offer →During the Festival, everything plays out on the phone: I make short, subtitled vertical formats to publish during your performances. It is the logic I followed for the launch of the OLY app with Teddy Riner.
Deliverables9:16 and 1:1, burnt-in subtitles
Discover the offer →DGAC-certified drone pilot. The historic centre, a World Heritage site, is dense and very busy, and Avignon-Provence airport is not far: every flight is prepared, declared to the Vaucluse prefecture and may require the site manager’s agreement.

Discover the offer →Which format?
Show teaser, venue film or recruitment video: length, pace and channel change everything. Here are the ones I recommend to Avignon’s companies, venues and businesses.
| Need | Format | Length | Distribution | Why |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Present a venue or a company | Corporate film → | 1 to 2 min | Tourist office, website, trade shows | The venue, its teams and its history told simply, to make people want to visit or work with you. |
| Convince a programmer or a client | Client testimonial → | About 1 min | Distribution file, website, LinkedIn | The word of a spectator, a partner or a client carries more weight than any slogan. |
| Recruit | Employer brand video → | 1 min 30 + portraits | Careers page, social media, schools | Employees showing their job and life in Avignon. |
| Bring an event back to life | Aftermovie → | 1 to 2 min | Social media, partners, next edition | A festival, an evening or an inauguration summed up in a few minutes to thank and retain. |
| Sell a date | Reels and vertical teasers → | 15 to 30 s | Instagram, TikTok, ticketing | A strong clip, a time, a venue: enough to fill a performance during the Off. |
| Illustrate what cannot be filmed | Motion design and 3D → | 30 to 90 s | Website, trade shows, social media | A process, a renovation project or a vanished place reconstructed in images. |
Avignon, the practical side
In public space, filming is declared to the City of Avignon; in a monument or museum, it is the venue’s manager who authorises.
Listed historic centre, crowds, nearby airport: every flight is checked, declared and negotiated with the site.
The In and the Off take over the city in July (the 2026 Off runs 4 to 25): saturated streets, scarce accommodation, you need to plan early.
Mistral that hampers sound, harsh summer light, beautiful late afternoons on the stone: we schedule shots accordingly.
The places
The area within the walls concentrates heritage and performance; outside the ramparts are businesses, the TGV station and major facilities. Six areas to know when choosing your settings. During the Festival, the centre changes pace completely: better to know before fixing your dates.
The emblematic monument also houses a conference centre, with meeting and reception rooms including the Conclave Hall, up to 536 people. An exceptional setting for a seminar or an institutional event, with access conditions specific to the site.
Hilltop garden, view of the Rhône, the Pont d’Avignon and Villeneuve: the city’s best viewpoints for an opening shot, as long as you come early, before the visitors.
Place de l’Horloge, rue des Teinturiers, theatre courtyards and chapels: the setting of the Festival. Outside July, these places suit artist portraits, teasers and regional films.
Orchards, paths and Rhône banks facing the city: a natural setting a few minutes from the centre, prized for quiet shoots and views of the ramparts.
Around Avignon TGV station, the Courtine business district is growing: recent offices, direct access from Lyon, ideal for an executive interview between two trains.
A business park focused on food processing and research, university campus, exhibition centre: corporate and innovation settings, away from the bustle of the centre.
How I work
Preparation is done with you remotely, filming in Avignon, post-production in Lyon. Nothing moves forward without your approval.
Your project, your dates, your audience: a detailed proposal, TGV included, with the necessary preparation time.
Agreement from the City or the venue, rehearsal schedule for a show, scouting, shot list.
One day is enough to film a venue or a company; a rehearsal and a performance for a show teaser.
First edit shared online; between two and four rounds of feedback, then all the variations for your social media and ticketing.
Live performance
Companies often ask me this before the Festival. The two formats do not have the same role, or the same cost.
For a small piece, I make the teaser and a simple recording on my own. For a large-scale show filmed with several cameras or broadcast live, a production company is needed, and I tell you so from the first conversation.
Multi-camera recording or live? The Avignon video production offer →A project to refine?
Twenty minutes of conversation is enough to choose between teaser, recording or venue film, and to pick the right moment. No obligation.
Client feedback
A serious, passionate videographer. He takes the time to properly understand each project. I highly recommend him.
“He knows how to handle the unexpected and adapt to different situations.”
“He took the time to listen to me and met all my expectations.”
“Very professional work from Quentin.”
“Very professional, video edited very quickly.”
Who am I?
Director and editor since 2018, I make corporate films, teasers, documentaries and event films, with visual effects made by me. When a project calls for it, a camera operator or a dedicated sound person joins me; you keep the same director.
I have filmed for Compagnie Loup de Lune, the Musée Henri Martin, the DGAEV and Mars Wrigley. Avignon is an hour from my home by TGV: I come to scout when it helps.
FAQ · Avignon
Your question is missing? Write to me, I reply within one business day.
The cost varies with preparation, filming time, editing and the options chosen (drone, visual effects, subtitles, versions). As Avignon is an hour from Lyon, travel stays light and accommodation is rarely needed. My video pricing guide explains the other parameters.
On the public highway, the request is made to the City of Avignon, with the shooting plan and schedule; I plan even further ahead in July. In a monument, museum or theatre, it is the venue manager who agrees and sets the conditions. For a private venue, the owner’s authorisation is enough.
Yes, with the monument manager’s agreement and subject to its access conditions. The Palace’s conference centre offers meeting and reception rooms, including the Conclave Hall, which can hold up to 536 people: an exceptional setting for a seminar or an evening, which I can cover from start to finish.
Yes, for a company, a theatre or a partner brand, with the agreement of the venues concerned. The In and the Off take over the city in July, the 2026 Off running 4 to 25 July: very busy streets, back-to-back performances, scarce accommodation. For a teaser meant for promotion, it is better to film beforehand.
Ideally, we film a rehearsal or run-through for the close-ups, then a performance from the back of the house for atmosphere and the bow. I work without added light, using the show’s lighting plot, and set the sound with the technical booth. For a full recording, I attend a performance before filming if possible, to note the movements and light changes.
Rarely in the city centre. The historic centre is dense and very busy, and Avignon-Provence airport lies to the south-east. Each flight is checked against the map of regulated zones and declared to the Vaucluse prefecture; above a monument, the manager’s agreement is also needed. Often, a view from the Rocher des Doms or the Villeneuve bank advantageously replaces the drone.
About an hour by direct TGV to Avignon TGV, then five minutes by rail shuttle to the central station. By car, the A7 puts Avignon just over two hours away. So we can go and return the same day.
Yes: Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, Le Pontet, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Orange, Carpentras, Cavaillon, L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the Luberon or the Alpilles, and further afield Nîmes, Arles or Aix-en-Provence. Several nearby places can be filmed on the same day.
For a teaser and a simple recording with one or two cameras, an independent director is enough. Multi-camera recording for broadcast, live or a heavy set-up: you need a fuller structure, and the Avignon video production page, detailed on another page, covers this need.
Yes, from Châteauneuf-du-Pape to the Côtes-du-Rhône: vines, cellar, tasting, winemaker portraits. I organise the shoot around the light and the estate’s calendar (pruning, harvest, bottling) to show the real work. Only the estate needs to give its agreement.
Yes: regional films, videos of cultural events, presentations of facilities. My experience with the DGAEV and for a museum has taught me to balance institutional standards, respect for places and emotion. I deliver versions adapted to each channel, with subtitles. For a renovation project or a new facility, following it over several shoots also keeps a record of it.
Yes. The Festival audience and visitors to the Palais des Papes are very international: English subtitles widen your audience. For Spanish, Italian or another language, I add subtitles from a translation you provide.
Spring and September offer beautiful light and a calmer city. July is ideal for filming the Festival, far less so for a presentation video. When the mistral blows, I take precautions for sound and plan a spare day for aerial shots.
One to two weeks in general: I send you a first edit online, you comment on it, then comes the final version and all its variations. For a Festival teaser, we can set a tighter schedule so that it is online before the first performance.
