Home-made visual effects

What I bring you in Paris
Paris has no shortage of videographers. I offer something different: the same person to write, film, edit and create the visual effects, and a quote where travel is priced from the start.

On set, I am already thinking about the 16:9 for the website, the square for LinkedIn and the vertical for Reels. You leave with a consistent series of content, not a single film to crop.
OLY × Teddy Riner · 9:16 format
Train, hotel if needed, equipment transport: each cost appears on its own line of the quote. When the shoot starts early, I can arrive the day before.

Three projects in detail
Three very different contexts, three ways of preparing a shoot: a national commemoration in Paris, a giant sports event in Valence, an international trade show in Cannes. Each card links to the full film.
DGAEV · INVALIDES, PARIS · 2022
For the 14 July ceremony at Les Invalides, the DGAEV expected a film worthy of the place and the moment: tributes, symbolic gestures, official speeches. On this kind of shoot, nothing can be replayed: a missed shot is missed for good. So I prepared my positions hand in hand with the organising team, to anticipate every key moment without ever disturbing the protocol. In the edit, I looked for the right tone, between reflection and pace. The film now serves as the official record of that day.

AFTERWORK RUNNING · VALENCE · 2025
At the Parc de l’Épervière in Valence, the Afterwork Running brought together 2,500 runners from 170 companies, around a 700 m² village run by 120 volunteers. The organisers wanted a film showing the switch from the office to the shared run. I first listed with them the moments not to miss, then alternated shots in the middle of the runners with calmer scenes in the village. The film is now used to present the event to partners. The same preparation applies to a corporate sports challenge in Île-de-France.

MARS WRIGLEY · CANNES · 2025
At the TFWA show in Cannes, Mars Wrigley wanted to keep a memory of its stand: activities, tastings, meetings with visitors. I filmed handheld, with available light, to follow the exchanges without interrupting the sales teams. Close-ups on the products, brisk movements and slow motion give the edit a lively tempo. This light set-up also suits the big Paris trade shows, from Porte de Versailles to Villepinte, where you move among the visitors.

A shoot planned in Paris?
Send me the date, the location and the goal: within 24 business hours you receive a first approach and an estimate that includes travel.
My services
Head offices, start-ups, institutions, event agencies: in Paris, requests range from brand films to convention coverage. I always start from the intended use — convincing a client, attracting a candidate, extending an event — then build the filming set-up.
Your business, your teams, your premises, told in a few minutes. I prepare the outline with you, then film on your sites, at La Défense, in the central business district or the inner suburbs. The film then serves on your website, in client meetings and for recruitment.

Discover the offer →Conventions, launches, gala evenings, trade shows at Porte de Versailles, Villepinte or the Palais des Congrès: I film the highlights while staying discreet, then deliver a film that makes the event last. A short version can be delivered within 72 hours.
DeliverablesEvent film, 9:16 teaser, clips for LinkedIn and Instagram
Discover the offer →An executive, an expert, a happy client: I film them on their premises, with careful lighting and clean sound, asking questions rather than having them read a script. The story comes from their own words.
DeliverablesEdited interview, short subtitled clips
Discover the offer →Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn series: I frame for the phone screen from the moment of filming. For example, I shot the vertical videos for the OLY launch with Teddy Riner and edited a large part of the 240 MOOVA sessions for the ASPTT.
Deliverables9:16, 1:1 and 16:9 versions with burnt-in subtitles
Discover the offer →DGAC-certified drone pilot. In Paris, any drone flight requires an exemption from the Préfecture de police, requested at least ten working days in advance, and approval is never guaranteed. I assess feasibility at the quote stage; if the flight is refused, I suggest a high-angle shot or another sequence.
DeliverablesAerial shots edited into the film, raw drone files
Discover the offer →3D objects integrated into live footage, compositing, animated titles, diagrams that explain an offer: I do all of this myself. That is what allowed me to integrate an SR-71 Blackbird alongside supercars in the Victador film. For a Paris brand, it is a way to break out of the expected corporate film.

The format follows from what the video must achieve. Here are the matches I most often suggest to Île-de-France businesses, with lengths and distribution channels.
| Need | Recommended format | Length | Distribution | What it brings |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Make your company known | Corporate video → | 2 to 3 min | Website, trade shows, client meetings | It answers every prospect’s question: why you rather than someone else? Words from executives, teams at work, places, on a storyline written together. |
| Convince a prospect | Client testimonial → | 1 to 2 min | Website, LinkedIn, tenders | Your client explains their situation and the change achieved. In B2B, no argument carries as much weight as a peer’s. |
| Attract candidates | Employer brand film → | 90 s + 30 s portraits | Careers page, LinkedIn, school fairs | Employees present their job at their workplace. One day of filming often produces several portraits. |
| Make an event last | Aftermovie → | 2 min + 30 s version | Social media, intranet, next invitation | Convention, launch, party: the film keeps a record of what happened and helps fill the next edition. |
| Exist on social media | Reels and TikTok → | 15 to 60 s | Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn | Shot vertically, subtitled, understandable even with the sound off on the metro. |
| Make an offer clear | Motion design and 3D → | 30 to 90 s | Website, demos, stands | For software, a financial service or a technology invisible to the eye, animation shows what the camera cannot film. |
Paris, the logistics side
Small crew and light equipment in the street: prior declaration to Paris Film, one week ahead. Park, monument or parking: permit via AGATE, three weeks ahead.
Flying over Paris is prohibited. An exemption from the Préfecture de police must be requested at least ten working days ahead, with no guarantee.
I schedule exteriors early in the morning, when the city is quieter, and plan trips between locations according to traffic.
Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Arc de Triomphe: these sites are negotiated with their operators, not with Paris Film. I make the request in advance.
Choosing the setting
Between a tower at La Défense and the courtyard of a Marais mansion, the setting already says something about your company. Here are six areas and what they bring to the image.
Billed as Europe’s leading business district: towers, esplanade, glass lobbies. An obvious setting for a head office, a consultancy or a bank. Its public spaces are managed by the Paris La Défense authority, not by the City of Paris: a shoot there is organised separately.
Between the Opéra, the Madeleine and the Étoile, Haussmann buildings house head offices, law firms and investment funds. Interiors lend themselves well to interviews; outside, traffic means choosing your timing carefully.
Mansions, cobbled courtyards, galleries: a sought-after setting for a brand film, a launch or a prestige event. These are also very busy streets, where the crew must stay light.
The region’s two big exhibition centres: VivaTech is held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Maison&Objet at Paris Nord Villepinte. To film a stand, you need to know the set-up slots and get the right badge.
Around Station F, in the 13th, and as far as Bercy, start-ups and digital companies occupy open, bright spaces, perfect for dynamic formats, product demos and recruitment videos.
The Cité du cinéma, major group headquarters and facilities built for the 2024 Games: the north of Paris has a new face. You will find equipped studios and converted industrial settings there.
How it works
The project is prepared remotely, filmed on site and edited in Lyon. You approve each step, and the schedule takes travel into account.
A call or video meeting to pin down your goal, your audience and your date constraints. The quote details every item, travel included.
Statement of intent, scouting by photo or video call, requests to Paris Film if needed, roadmap: everything is approved before I leave.
I come alone for light formats, or with a second camera operator and a sound engineer when the set-up requires it.
Editing, colour grading, mixing and subtitles. You give feedback remotely, two to four rounds of corrections are included, then I deliver all formats.
Compare
In Paris, the choice of agencies is huge. Here, plainly, is what sets the two options apart.
For a corporate film, a series of interviews or a one-day event, a well-prepared independent is more than enough. For an advertising campaign with casting, sets and a big crew, a structured production company is better suited, and I will tell you so.

Client reviews
A great videographer I have worked with for several years for a major chocolate brand. Very professional, videos edited very quickly, highly recommended if you are looking for a talented videographer.
“Very professional work from Quentin.”
“Great communication, a pleasure to work with him!”
“He knows how to handle the unexpected and adapt to different situations.”
“A serious, creative professional.”
Who will film
I have been making corporate films since 2018. I write, film, edit, colour grade and create the visual effects; if the project calls for it, I add a second camera operator, a sound engineer or an assistant. In Paris as elsewhere, you keep the same director.
Among my references: Mars Wrigley at the TFWA show, the DGAEV for 14 July at Les Invalides, Koezio. Every time, I aim for a film that fulfils the mission it was commissioned for.
FAQ Paris
Can’t find your answer? Write to me: I get back to you within 24 business hours.
Three things weigh the most: the length of filming and editing, the size of the crew and the options (drone, 3D, variations). For Paris, add the train and, if the shoot lasts several days or starts early, the hotel: these costs appear on a separate line. My page on the cost of corporate videos details what makes the amount vary.
Yes. A crew of up to ten people, with light equipment and no parking, files a prior declaration with Paris Film one week ahead. Beyond that, or for a park, a quay or a monument, a permit is needed via the AGATE platform, at least three weeks ahead. On your premises, your agreement is enough.
Rarely. Flying over Paris is prohibited except by exemption from the Préfecture de police, requested at least ten working days in advance by an operator registered with the DGAC, with a parallel request to Paris Film. I put the file together when the project justifies it; otherwise, I suggest an alternative at the quote stage.
Allow a few days for a short video and up to three weeks for a full film. For a trade show or a convention in Paris, I can deliver a first short video within 72 hours, while the event is still being talked about.
For a filmed interview or a light film, yes: it is simpler and cheaper. For a convention with several rooms or a multi-camera shoot, I bring in a second camera operator or a sound engineer and coordinate the crew. You keep a single contact.
Yes. I send you each version by private link, you note your comments, and two to four rounds are included. If you wish, we watch the first version together on a video call.
Yes. In addition to the web formats (16:9, 9:16, 1:1), on request I prepare a silent loop for stand screens, useful at the Porte de Versailles or Villepinte shows. Give me the screen resolution and I adapt it.
Yes: La Défense, Boulogne-Billancourt, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Saint-Denis, Saclay, Marne-la-Vallée, or the seminar venues of the outer suburbs. Travel is calculated from Paris, by train or hire car.
A production company brings together a producer, a director, technicians and a production manager. As the sole director of your films, I cover writing, filming and post-production, with direct communication. For a heavy set-up (studio, casting, multi-camera), a dedicated page presents video production in Paris.
A corporate film usually needs one day on site: interviews in the morning, atmosphere shots after lunch. For an event, I stay as long as it lasts. When the day starts early, I arrive the day before, and that hotel night appears in the quote.
Not necessarily in person. One or two video calls are usually enough to set the message, the audience and the outline. I then write a statement of intent, followed by the question guide if you opt for interviews. If you prefer a meeting, I can schedule it the day before the shoot.
I ask them questions instead of having them read a script, and keep rolling while they speak freely. Filming them at their desk rather than in a studio helps too. In the edit, I keep the most natural sentences.
You use them freely for your communication: website, social media, trade shows, presentations, online advertising. The music is licensed for this type of use. For TV, cinema or billboard distribution, flag it at the quote stage: the rights are negotiated differently.
Yes. Many Paris companies address an international audience: I can add English subtitles or a voice-over. French subtitles remain useful, as a large share of videos are watched without sound.
