What matters in Toulouse
In a metropolis where aircraft, satellites and cancer treatments are designed, the challenge is not finding a subject. It is making it clear to a client, a candidate or an investor who does not share your technical background.
A confidential part, a satellite in orbit, a process locked inside a machine: where the camera stops, I take over with animations and 3D images built from A to Z.
Victador · integrated 3D
Trade show, careers page, LinkedIn, sales meeting: I frame with vertical and short versions in mind from the shoot, so that a single visit feeds months of communication.
Vertical portrait · OLY
Toulouse is reached by plane in about an hour, or by direct train in a little over four hours. I choose according to your schedule: arrival the day before for a full day, first flight for a half-day.

Case studies
An art film for an Occitanie museum, a legendary aircraft composited in 3D, a race bringing together 170 companies: three ways of handling what Toulouse companies ask me for most. The film can be viewed on each case study.

MUSÉE HENRI MARTIN · CAHORS
Jeffrey & Sally paint in contact with nature; the Musée Henri Martin in Cahors wanted a film that resembles them. I handled the direction, filming and editing: a discreet camera, attentive to hands, textures and light, and a narrative where silences count. The institution uses it to introduce its artists to visitors. This restraint also suits a laboratory, a precision workshop or a Toulouse cultural venue.

VICTADOR · VFX
For Victador, under Yaxo’s art direction (Toronto) and entirely in English, the challenge was to make an SR-71 Blackbird appear convincingly in the background of supercars, led by the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae. I handled the full compositing and rotoscoping in Fusion; Adrien Lafourcade and I reworked the aircraft’s shaders in Blender and placed the brand’s logo on the fuselage. In Toulouse, this technique makes it possible to show an aircraft, a satellite or equipment banned from camera.

AFTERWORK RUNNING · 2025
The Valence Afterwork Running brought together more than 2,500 one-evening athletes, employees of 170 companies, with a 700 m² village and 120 volunteers mobilised. I scouted the key moments beforehand, then filmed in the middle of the pack and between the stands, so that every company could find itself in it. An inter-company sports challenge in Toulouse, on the banks of the Garonne or elsewhere in the metropolitan area, is organised along the same lines.

A project in Toulouse?
Three pieces of information are enough: the film’s subject, the place and the date. You get a detailed proposal by the next business day.
Services
Aeronautics equipment makers and subcontractors, laboratories, digital companies, schools, congress organisers: each project starts from a simple question, who is the film for and what should it trigger.
Presenting a site, a craft or a team to clients as well as to candidates: we write the outline together, I film following your access procedures and confidentiality requirements, then I break the film down into short versions.

The right format depends on the distribution channel and the desired result. Below, the pairings that come up most in my projects with manufacturers, laboratories and those who organise events in the metropolitan area.
| Goal | Format | Length | Where to publish it | Why it works |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Present an industrial site | Corporate film → | 2 to 3 min | Website, trade shows, client visits | Your production facility, your teams and your certifications, shown without jargon. |
| Reassure a principal | Client testimonial → | 1 to 2 min | Meetings, tenders | A satisfied client’s point of view, more convincing than any brochure. |
| Attract engineers | Employer brand video → | 90 s + portraits | Careers page, school job fairs | Those who do the job talk about it better than a job ad. |
| Showcase a congress | Aftermovie → | 1 to 3 min | Participants, partners, social media | The highlights of a congress or convention, to announce the next edition. |
| Exist on LinkedIn | Reels and vertical formats → | 15 to 45 s | LinkedIn, Instagram | Short capsules, filmed in one block and published over the weeks. |
| Explain an invisible product | Motion design and 3D → | 1 to 2 min | Trade shows, investors, website | Satellites, software, molecules: 3D shows what the eye cannot see. |
Toulouse, the practical side
Free service of the Metropolis: an online form (dates, places, parking, traffic) whenever you film on the public highway.
Over public space, only a registered operator can fly; the proximity of Blagnac also requires checking each area.
Cabin, cockpit, tarmac, hangar: the filming office helps gain access to aeronautical settings that are hard to obtain alone.
40,000 m² of halls near the airport: supplier access, badge and set-up hours are arranged with the organiser.
Toulouse settings
Brick of the old centre, innovation districts, airport zones: depending on what your film must say, the setting changes completely. Here are six areas I often suggest.
Squares, mansions and narrow brick streets: the heritage setting par excellence. For a hotel, a law firm or a brand, I favour the morning, before the terraces fill up.
Quays, Prairie des Filtres, dome of La Grave: wide shots that immediately place the city, useful as an opening for a film or for an outdoor interview at sunset.
The heart of the aeronautics industry, with Aeroscopia and the MEETT: secure sites where filming is by appointment, escorted, with zones forbidden on camera that must be known in advance.
The former Aéropostale runway, the Envol des Pionniers and the Montaudran innovation district, then the Cité de l’espace to the east: a ready-made setting to talk about technical adventure and the future.
The health campus in the south-west, on the banks of the Garonne: laboratories, research and care. Each shoot is organised with the communication department, respecting protected areas.
Offices, digital companies and regional headquarters: an easily accessible environment, ideal for interviews, client testimonials or recruitment portraits shot in half a day.
Method
Remote preparation, filming on site, post-production from Lyon: each stage waits for your green light before the next.
Objective, place, security constraints: a priced proposal reaches you, travel included.
Filming office form if needed, list of filmable zones with your site, interview questions, schedule.
Interviews in half a day, site film or congress in one to two days, with arrival the day before if necessary.
Editing, colour grading, mixing, 3D if planned; your comments are left online, frame by frame.
Camera or 3D
In aeronautics, space or healthcare, part of the subject is often invisible or confidential. Before the shoot, we decide together what the camera will show and what the animation will handle.
The two coexist very well in the same film, as with the SR-71 in the Victador project. A multi-camera studio programme or a live broadcast rather calls for a full production team.

They trusted me
Professional, gifted and very committed. Quentin knows how to turn every project into a unique one that meets my expectations.
“Very professional work from Quentin.”
“Impeccable image quality, a smooth pace.”
“He knows how to handle the unexpected and adapt to different situations.”
“He took the time to listen to me and met all my expectations.”
The director
Since 2018, I have been writing, filming and editing videos for companies, museums and public bodies; animations, 3D and compositing also come out of my own workstation. On a congress or a very large site, extra camera or sound support joins me, without multiplying the people you deal with.
In Occitanie, I filmed in Cahors, at the Musée Henri Martin. Elsewhere, my references range from Cannes and the Mars Wrigley stand at the TFWA, to the DGAEV at Les Invalides, Koezio’s anniversary, the ASPTT’s MOOVA series and the Victador film. Toulouse is prepared from Lyon, with a scout when the site requires it.
FAQ · Toulouse
One question left? Ask it by message: I will get back to you by the next business day.
It varies with writing, the number of days on site, editing, then options: 3D, drone, short versions, subtitles. Travel costs from Lyon (flight or train, possibly accommodation) appear on a dedicated line. My guide to the price of a corporate film details each item.
No: on the public highway, a permit is required. The filming office of Toulouse Métropole, a free service, receives the request through an online form: dates, places, crew size, parking, traffic or electricity needs. On a private site, the written consent of the company or venue manager is enough.
Yes, under conditions. In built-up areas, over public space, only an operator registered on AlphaTango, with a manual of particular activities and a certified remote pilot, can fly, and an aerial-filming activity declaration is added. The surroundings of Blagnac airport make some areas very constrained: I check the map before proposing a shot.
Yes, within the framework set by the company: escorted access, inventory of spaces and workstations authorised on camera, equipment announced in advance. I show you the images before any edit intended for release, and what is confidential can be replaced by a 3D animation.
Yes. The MEETT, the exhibition park and convention centre of Toulouse Métropole, hosts up to 10,000 people, with a 3,400-seat plenary hall. Talks, workshops and stands: I produce a summary film and clips, and a second operator joins me when several rooms run in parallel.
The Lyon–Toulouse flight takes about an hour. By train, a few direct services link Lyon Part-Dieu to Toulouse-Matabiau in a little over four hours for the fastest. For a full day, I arrive the day before; for a half-day, the first flight is often enough.
Yes, provided the shoot is prepared with the communication department: accessible zones, clothing, releases from people filmed, no recognisable patient without written consent. The interview is often filmed in a neighbouring room, in calm, and technical gestures in tight shots.
Everywhere in the metropolitan area: Blagnac, Colomiers, Cornebarrieu, Tournefeuille, Balma, Labège, Ramonville-Saint-Agne, Castanet-Tolosan, Muret, and beyond throughout Occitanie. Neighbouring sites can be chained within the same day.
For an institutional film, interviews or a congress, a videographer-director, with occasional reinforcement, is enough. A programme, a multi-camera studio or a live broadcast call for a larger structure: they are described on my page dedicated to video production in Toulouse.
Yes. I do modelling, animation and compositing myself, in Blender and Fusion. We start from your plans, photos and technical references. It is useful for a satellite, onboard equipment or a product still in development.
Yes. I film volunteer employees at their workstations, and produce a short film as well as portraits for LinkedIn, your careers page and the city’s engineering school job fairs.
My preferred periods: April-May, then the September back-to-school, for their soft light. In high summer, I schedule exteriors at dawn or in the evening. The autan wind, sometimes violent, also complicates outdoor sound recording.
First a video call to set the framework, then a shooting plan sent by email for approval, finally edit versions viewable online and commentable to the timecode. An on-site scout can be added before the shoot.
Wherever you want: website, LinkedIn, trade shows, internal meetings. Music licences cover these uses; for broadcast or billboard use, the licence is adjusted in the quote.
